History
When he was a young boy, Basement Poker Tour Pit Boss Derek Edward Bye envisioned a group of gentlemen meeting to participate in a occasional game of Texas Hold 'Em. These events would take place in basements, living room, and patio's. It would take a distinguished set of men, a set of men who enjoy the sound of chips being stacked, feel of plastic playing cards being shuffeled, the sense of embarrassment when another player calls a bluff, and the smell of a lime infused in a Gin and Tonic.
When the first hours of 2010 arrived, Mr. Bye made his vision a reality. On January 15, 2010, the First 50 were emailed, invited to join this distinguished group and the Basement Poker Tour was born.
The inaugural Basement Poker stop is set for February 26th, 2010 at 8:30pm.
